out of all the games i tried out in this game jam this one was the most satisfying to play. It's challenging enough to keep my interest but not so hard that i got frustrated. I think the way that fishing is integrated with the fishing pole as a grappling hook is a clever idea. Nice game :)

It might just be me, Im bad at the fishing mini game in stardew valley too :)
you made a fun game Kayla :)

so cool to see a horror interpretation on the theme.
I think it told the story very effectively through the mechanics of the game. I think maybe one more action besides fishing and putting away the fish would have made it perfect to me.
Very classic lovecraftian horror vibe. Good job.

I like the art but i think there could have been some way to tie game to the theme a bit more. I feel like the same rhythm game could have been in front of any artwork. Maybe i missed something because i gave up pretty quick, I'm bad at typing and the game is unforgiving. I need a easy mode lol.

im sorry for disappointing you memi :(

i suck so bad at space bar mini game. I keep getting confused wich one im controlling.
anyway cute, quirky game that challenged and surprised me.

I laughed out loud when I heard the bonk sound effect.

I like that the second stage gives a motivation for the first stage.  It's a shame the second stage doesn’t work  very well yet.
Love the pixel art and the pastel background colours. That’s definitely what made me click on the game.
nice work!

what a charming game!
But there’s something about the style of the framing device and the style of the actual game being  so different that doesn’t quite make sense to me. Separately I think both styles are appealing.
and also I couldn’t figure out the puzzle with the feathers :(.
Overall I think  it’s a successful game and you should  be proud.  Great work!
